wow... that's a really valid insight... if it's not too much hassle is it alright if you can show me some more examples of triads? like, i know what they are but i kinda struggle with putting them in a proper context that makes them stand out. at times it feels like im not aware of using them and i just really wanna analyze how you would use them! i'm really used to atonal music so it's difficult for me to make pieces that are as harmonically tranquil as yours. i really think you did a good job on this one!
I appreciate it. Our search for novelty often leads to complexity, but I think it is good sometimes to sit back and look at the impact of simplicity; it can be a powerful tool to convey certain emotions. Extended chords just can't reach that purity and innocence of a basic major triad. It is indeed a short sequence, but it doesn't need to be longer; everything I want to tell with this piece is there.
god—muhngkee, i have only yet to tell you how much this sequence means to me as i honestly think this is one of your greatest works to this day. i feel nothing less than being inspired from hearing the jubilant tone of the minor fourth note in this sequence. speaking of which, i am aware that this is a short sequence but i am highly convinced thanks to you that simpler is better. i didn't know what i was thinking in those days where i've used chords with over complicated voicings. i am so blessed muhngkee!!
