Isn't the contrast of the title funny?
You may have thought this was a boss theme, but it is more of an elevator to the boss.
That would be very cool if the start was quiet and it sounded like somebody was walking into an elevator, and after the sound of the doors shut with a ding of the elevator bell, and after that the song with the leitmotif of the upcoming boss would play and nearing the end of the elevator song the song would fade out, and the door would open with the same ding of the door, and then the step noises would exit the elevator and the boss music would play with the leitmotif in the elevator. I never actually wrote a proper thing for this sequence, so here we go.
(B4 the 100th Sequence)
You fight against an evil corp.
After you win the fight with the secretary, she tells you that the key to the CEO's room got lost in the sewers of the corporation (yes they have their own sewer system and water treatment plant) she then gets up and limps over to the secretary panel and grants you access to an elevator.
You enter through the elevator door, and you hear a nice tune.
It was a pretty long ride, around 2-3 minutes in length, but you finally got off.
After you exit the elevator you see a lot of stairs and pipes around.
There are many branching tunnels that all lead to a groggy fog. The only source of light was the lights lining the concrete tunnels.
During the search, a few hours later, you trip over something. It was a key, and also some tattered clothes.
So you go back to the elevator and get in, but after a bit, the elevator comes to a stop. You start to hear scratching or chewing noises around the elevator, but it stops.
It seems that the elevator's electricity has gone out, so you pry the doors open and see some chewed cords hanging from above the elevator.
There is also a tunnel with a green hue, foggy mist, and the noise of flowing water coming from it, then you see a silhouette skitter into the tunnel, so you run towards it.
BIG RAT!!!! :O
