"Tachanka" is a Soviet Revolutionary song composed by Konstantin Listov and written by Mikhail Ruderman in 1937.
It describes various tachankas used throughout battles within the Russian Civil War (1917-1923).
A tachanka is a horse-drawn cart with a machine gun attached to it. It was likely invented by Ukrainian anarchist Nestor Makhno, before being widely adopted by all sides of the Russian Civil War.
