The stars still exist, and the Tauraro drifts among them, pondering on its final decision and coming to a firm conclusion, but is visited by the Nefarious---cut to the world in the ocean. New people are rising up and the world underwater is rebuilding itself. Under the convincing advice of the Nefarious, the Tauraro decides to share the gift of the stars with the people underwater, and the Nefarious become the new Lightbearers. In any case, the Tauraro lives on apart from the ocean people now that the secret has been passed on.
The final decision. Some would call it the "Bad ending." The ocean creatures could and probably will repeat history without the knowledge of what came before them. Eve took the apple, and quickly Adam took the second bite.
