The opening sequence of A Fright to Remember, made into MIDI with Online Sequencer. The cartoon opens up with an establishing shot of an old run-down manor house, the abode of the mischievous spooks the cartoon revolves around, on the fictional Frighton Avenue during a thunderstorm. The camera goes through a window who's shutters are banging in the wind and enters the foyer/lounge of the house. A nearby longcase clock strikes twelve, causing some bats perched upside-down beneath the clocks face to wake up startled and fly off in a flurry. The ghosts all wake up as the chimes ring throughout the house, then creep over to the newspaper rack to look through the paper and see if they can look for the perfect victim to scare. That's when the biggest of the ghosts spots an ad about the Ajax Spook Exterminators Company., and an idea soon sparks in each one of their madcap phantom minds...
