Technically a good remix doesn't just add to whats already there... I'm tired of the many remixes on OS that just take the song and add to whats already there... (much like many ***** remixes lol) I'm pretty sure many of the people reading this may have heard a really awesome remix of something, and KNOW they didn't just take the song and add sounds over it... A real remix maker takes certain melodies from the song and maybe even changes a couple notes or the placement of them in general, while adding their own beat and style to it, so it doesn't sound so much like the real song itself, but they keep the same general tune of it so that people will know what song exactly they are remixing... get it?
