my printer windows will not close normally after printing, and do not show up in task manager. this is diverting power and sacrificing things like healthy levels of screen brightness.
turning the computer off and on again doesn't work, and the printer cable is inaccessible because the printer is surrounded from all directions except the front. how do i fix this?
Try turning off your computer, then turning it on?

when i said turning it on and off again doesn't work, i meant for the computer

...it doesn't work with the printer either.
If the problem persists, try updating the printer drivers?

how do i do that
printer "drivers"
*drivers

You can update the driver automatically by opening device manager and finding the printer, then opening its properties. Make sure you have an internet connection
