only thing i can think of is reloading os
the black and white notes on the left represent a piano keyboard.
the dark and light rows represent notes inside and outside of whatever key guide you're using.
you can find the key guide selection at the bottom of the sequencer.
Oh this is just KEY GUIDE not set to C. set KEY GUIDE to C and they will line up. This is a feature helpful for transposing songs
