Foreword

Hello Online Sequencer, it is now time to announce the winners of the 2021 Space Race Contest! We hope this contest has sparked inspiration for both beginners and veterans alike—we were impressed by the quality of the entries this year and we hope to do another large contest sometime in the future.

Judgement and Voting Process

The winners were determined by a half-judge, half-community system. Before the community vote, we categorized the entries into a rough tier sort using objective criteria. Some entries ended up landing a different tier in the final catalog—so the numbers here should only be used to predict winners.

In the voting form, you were able to choose your favorite two entries per tier. We've made sure to keep the community voting process as fair as possible by IP-checking every user on the forms and throwing out duplicate/alt entries. While a total of 101 forms were submitted, 90 of them are verified votes you can see in the charts below.

Prize Distribution

We will ship physical rewards to the address that you provide us. This can be your home address or a friend's—but be sure to pick a reliable place to pick up your prize!

For the winners living in Europe—we will ship merchandise directly from Teespring. Unfortunately, Teespring is unable to deliver the Accessory Pouch and Water Bottle outside of the US, however you can select the rest of the prizes.

For the S Class Winners—we've planned on giving a (very special!) second set of prizes, but as of now, handling OS merchandise is the current priority. We will contact you in the future once these prizes are better-planned out.
