Interesting to note that the reverb setting toggles the reverb send on and off but the delay setting toggles the delay return on and off.  I suppose I'd prefer if they were both send (or choosable) but no biggie.

Well since we can now turn reverb on and off during the sequence, in my usage I have found out that turning the reverb on turns the instrument send to the reverb on and off.  This means that if you turn the reverb off, whatever was sent before the turnoff continues to reverberate.  But with delay the effect reflections stop immediately when it is turned off which means that the delay return is being toggled instead.

Strange inconsistency.
Yeah it would be better if both continued after the marker turned it off
This can't be done without drastically increasing CPU usage. Currently we have a single convolution node for the entire sequence, which is very efficient. This suggestion would require convolution nodes for each instrument.
