Just curious about the audio equipment that people use to produce their sequences.

I use the Sony MDR-M1ST to produce mine. It is a Japan-exclusive studio monitor headphone that gives a very relaxed but accurate soundstage and frequency response reproduction with very good timbre, layering and imaging. I had it imported just because of how many good things I've heard about it

Let's hear yours!

Having an accurate playback system is ESSENTIAL for making your music sound good. What I've been using though they aren't that great are the Audio Technica ATH-m20x, Because that day that's all I could afford. For the price they are decent

Ah, I looked them up and they perform rather similarly to the M1ST. Seems like a good choice! They do seem to roll off quite a bit in the subbass though, and have a rather large trench in the highs, sadly. Those are the only two differences I've found based on this website: https://www.rtings.com/headphones/review...a/ath-m20x
