Lately I've been seeing songs with very long notes. But I can't figure out how to make my notes long. All the options say is 1/2 grid, 1/4 grid, 1/8 grid, and 1/16 grid. How do you make your notes longer than 1/2?

How do you make notes silent? Or how to change the volume of notes?
