Hi! I've been trying to do a cover of one of my favorite songs recently, "7empest" by TOOL, and I have the jazz guitar-type intro done (the weirdest time sigs ever btw), and I was moving onto the first heavy riff. I got the chords and stuff down, I just need the right tone and I'm wondering if I could get some help. Not 100% sure if this is the right section for this so sorry if that's not right.

I was thinking maybe 8-bit sawdust with some distortion (probably Styx) and detune changes.
