I use mid tier mixing speakers most often (kali lp6) and usually listen to metal and other energetic genres like techno and dubstep
retro, classical, i use airpods to cause world hunger
Blues, Soul, Rock, Punk, Alternative, Lofi, Jazz, Ambient, whatever fits the day. My listening equipment does NOT influence what I listen to.
Main device is Arctis Steelseries 7 (work / gaming headset), secondary is a crappy bluetooth speaker in my pickup truck (Anker Soundcore). Before finalizing a song I also try to listen on my wife's Bose QuietComfort 2's, but sometimes I end up getting too enthusiastic and overdoing the low frequencies because I forget to listen on something that plays massive bass.
