Was considering making tiktok videos for marketing my music, and I don't have a video camera.

I was considering purchasing a Canon T2i, bad idea? Which camera should I purchase for this? Don't want to spend more than $200 USD and I need video

Layman opinion but I don't think image capture really matters, most tiktokers use iphones after all. Audio capture may matter though.
