Im making music and the is a problem that in a part of the song i might want to change the piano into a trombone but the notes in the way and i don't want to change all the piano into trombone, so maybe make something to select a section and be able to select a certain instrument in that area, thank you
Actually yes, its possible, just go to the advanced instruments settings and click the lock icon for the piano

or you can just do ctrl shift and click the instrument you wanna lock

thats not what i meant i know that exists
Oh i see what you mean now, no its not possible doing it the way you want it to happen so you would have to manualy do it.
