Full Version: specific-note-only select and transposition

say you want to select all of a certain instrument in a specific area but there are other notes in the area. if you don't add this "filtered selection", our only choice is to select them ONE AT A TIME. That's a waste of time.

I also want the ability to, with a single click, shift every non-percussion note up or down by a set amount of notes.
1. ctrl+shift+click on the notes you don't want to select to lock those instruments, then select as usual.

2. ctrl+shift+click to lock the percussion, then ctrl+a to select everything else, then ctrl+arrow keys or click and drag to move the selection.

buuuuut the ones you don't want to accidentally select, you STILL have to select them ONE AT A TIME.
