Damn, I just realized that in measure 47 I go out of the octave, however the time has passed to update the sequence, since it is an error I would like to correct it but I can't, does anyone know if I can ask permission to just fix that problem?

now that i'm not in a huge rush to make and post something, i can break down my entries!
for my first entry, Bloom, I wanted to create something light-hearted. it's been my favourite sort of music lately. in a time where i'm feeling down, some silly little tunes tend to brighten the mood and remind me things aint so bad
I took inspiration from a REALLY old song i made,
which you can hear very clearly in the bassline. The melody was inspired (perhaps a little too closely LOL) by the World 7 theme from New Super Mario Bros.. I basically took those two songs and mushed them together from memory without listening to either one, and adding elements that make it unique.
for my second entry, Project 35, I had given a total makeover to a little chord sequence I made in FL Studio a few months ago, and extended it considerably. hence the name "Project 35", because FL studio will name your projects sequentially if you dont put anything. it was originally inspired by mario kart 8, and super smash bros. brawl, two games with some of my favourite OSTs ever. in the original project, the synth bass line was actually a bari and alto saxophone panned in either direction. i tried using the sustain brass we have here but it didnt sound how i wanted, so i used the synthesizer and actually really liked it, and figured i could go in a more electronic, almost eurobeaty direction, as thats something i like to listen to as well.
i hope you enjoy them both! also, snakey mentioned that my second submission might be late, but i don't believe it is? unless i'm missing something, the deadline is usually the 21st at 11:59pm EST which is 10:59pm for me, and I submitted it at like 3:30 my time. so HOPEFULLY it doesnt get disqualified, i suppose we'll see lol.
