Grouping instruments could provide an easy approach to organize instruments. This idea is adopted across many video editing and modeling softwares alike, and would find a great place with the functionality of Online Sequencer. With this idea, we could:
- Edit group behavior instead of individual instrument behavior inside 'edit markers' when needed, (This is useful if we needed to change the volume or detune of our melody, but our melody consists of multiple instruments.)
- The instrument selection list would be more organized, filing away grouped instruments in collapsible menus. (See presentation).
- Selecting, placing, and deleting, muting, and soloing multiple instruments at once would now be possible.
