I think you should add sliding notes possible without using effects, it has been 1 day since I have figured out effects, add a future in the setting that allows you to slide the selected note(s) to any note in the octave.

But literally what would it do that markers can't? It would be kinda pointless. It would probably be hard to figure out how the UI would work, too.
