The Online Sequencer Project! - Stepson - 01-20-2016 Hello! i had this idea that all of us ( Active Members ) Stepson, Eric, JHXC, Blobertthebob, Rico, Damineyo, or anyone who will want to participate the idea is that we make together some kind of album or EP, (around 10 Songs ) we will work 1 or 2 to how many people as possible on a song and release them all together on the forums, and if anyone wants we can probably transfer the midi's to something for higher quality and put it up on youtube, here are some stuff we need - - some kind of platform to share the WIP songs, - active members - a good tempo for the songs ( around 100-140 ) - time if you guys think its a good idea and you want to take part, it would be really cool, we will start organising this when about 3 members are going to agree to take part, ps: sorry if i forgot anyone that is active RE: The Online Sequencer Project! - cork - 01-20-2016 I have tons of melodies and a bunch of songs that I am already working on, so if you want to include me that would be awesome. RE: The Online Sequencer Project! - Eric - 01-20-2016 This is a fantastic idea, there are 2 things however when using the instruments if you want the best sounding MIDI transfer. 1. I only have experience with Grand Piano, I just figured out how to transfer MIDI yesterday. 2. Use 1/2 length note or even longer length notes, trust that this does sound beautiful as proven with my latest song. As long as I can transfer the MIDI format and publish it on You-tube, then I'm totally fine with this. RE: The Online Sequencer Project! - Stepson - 01-20-2016 thats cool to hear from you guys! btw eric i can import the midi to FL studio and recreate it there, pretty easily RE: The Online Sequencer Project! - wuggie - 01-20-2016 Sounds like a pretty awesome idea, I might want to participate, not sure though RE: The Online Sequencer Project! - blobertthebob - 01-20-2016 I might participate. Probably, if I can actually stop procrastinating and put my mind to use. RE: The Online Sequencer Project! - Rico - 01-20-2016 I'm all in. I've even been working on a masterpiece of a rock ballad, but the tempo is only 65 bpm. Would this be acceptable? https://musescore.com/user/3887381/scores/1651661 The midi can either be downloaded from MuseScore or found here: Note that the scifi is supposed to be hammond organ and horn/trombone are vocals. Would this be acceptable? to be honest, the thing sounds pretty okay in like 120 BPM the thing is about slow BPM in online sequencer is that you get a lot of silence between notes, and it sounds crappy but if it sounds okay i guess we can make something out of that RE: The Online Sequencer Project! - JHXC - 01-21-2016 I'm kind of confused... do you mean make a midi, then transfer it to the online sequencer, or do you mean for us to actually make a song with the sequencer? RE: The Online Sequencer Project! - Stepson - 01-21-2016 actually make a song with the sequencer, and if we want, recreate it in FL studio or something and post it on youtube |
