How does one do a slide?

I'm making a cover of Deftones' "Elite", which I think you find on my profile. I know it doesn't sound great, I'm gonna pretty it up later. I'm just working on the main rhythm guitar for now. On measure 14 and 18, there's a slide(which you can see on the tabs here: https://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/deftones...tab-s22750). How could I achieve a similar effect?

Oh, that slide? Just use your finger to slide on the string, or if you want it smoother, try using a slide bar (the metal/glass tube)

I thought so at first too but then someone named Murusa_Alt asked me to try tubular bells as an instrument on here for a sequence I made the other day. So I wasn't sure.

Thank you, but I was not talking about doing a slide on an actual guitar, as I already know how to do that. I also imagine playing deftones with a slide bar would be quite difficult.
