I mean... if you do as I say all instruments will be available asap and we no longer need to wait for the next instrument to load from a different source.

wait they come from a different source? i thought they were all loaded in the websites code...

I tried to copy the site long ago to make my own offline OS and I saw all the different sources. 
Good idea but it will not work always.

im pretty sure all of the instrument files are included in the website, it would be a bad idea to just link from external sources because they could be taken down/links could break ect and then our instruments wouldnt load
