I've been experimenting with OS a little bit in terms of creating samples in OS and editing the crap out of them in audio editors (mostly on a very basic level), and I can say that this can be a potential new style of music that someone can try. Being able to use OS for basic music composition, then exporting it out and mixing it in a proper DAW is something I think people should start to take advantage of.
On an unrelated note, it's insane to me to see OS have enveloping/automation, panning, and EQs at all. It could probably be used as a very very entry level DAW at this point (although you're better off saving for FL Studio or many of the other free fuller featured DAW's out there).
