uhm there have been like a hundred people asking jacob abt this and he always says it would take up SO much storage. The regular OS sequences aren't actually saved by the sounds, but by the letters and numbers you get when copying them. It's actually pretty cool, copy some notes and then go to like google docs to see the whole thing.
point is that it would take up so much more space if almost everybody had their own soundfonts to use, and it would involve having to remake the sequencer entirely in order to support it. isn't gonna happen, sorry
