In this Example: ##891348
- Electric Piano should have Delay turned on and Reverb turned off
- Grand Piano should have Reverb turned on and Delay turned off
- Make all Notes using the Electric Piano and Grand Piano Instruments all into Electric Piano
- Select and Copy every Note using the Electric Piano Instrument
- Paste the Selection over itself and change the newly Pasted Notes to Grand Piano
Measure 1 shows the Electric Piano alone
Measure 2 shows the Grand Piano alone
Measure 3 shows both the Electric and the Grand piano Copypasted on top of each other, which explains why they overlap.
I discovered something Important I must add:
This Method should not always be used exactly how I described it above, in particular not with Songs, that have many Piano Notes playing at once, because it'd be too much echo.
If you hear, that the Delay and Reverb cause too much echo, try toning the Delay and, most importantly, the Reverb down, e.g.
- Only applying Delay to the Electric Piano, but not to the Grand Piano
- Not applying Delay nor Reverb to the Electric Piano and Grand Piano
