Ghost notes for percussion?

Is there any chance of ever seeing a ghost note feature for percussion? They're pretty widely used, and it's pretty frustrating to write drum parts without the option of varying the volume of the notes to any degree.

Not in the way you're thinking, but you can decrease the volume of the percussion, stack the notes to create the normal note, and use a single unstacked note as a ghost note.
