Anyone else on BandLab.com?  I just started using it as a way to make sequences easier to listen to for friends. OS is WAY easier to create/edit in for me, but I then export a midi and import it to Band Lab so friends can listen more easily.

So far my main annoyance is that all the sounds in the drum kit don't match up, but I mainly use piano anyway.

Seems like it's got some good tools otherwise.

Free so far. I only found it about 2 weeks ago. Not sure if there's things you can purchase on there or not. Not totally sure of their business model, but for for now, it seems useful.

CakeWalk is the DAW by BandLab. It is completely free but used to be paid and called Sonar. It and Reaper are my best choices for free DAWs
