Adding Additional Preferences to Sequences and Browse By Author
I propose a suggestion that, when a user goes to save a sequence, there should be an additional save preferences windows that appears, or that has the option of appearing.
Some Basic Preferences
This save window would have things like
Title of Sequence: [text box with current name as default]
BPM: [text box with current bpm text as default]
Genre
Then, some new things. The user Schynye had earlier suggested adding a "Genre" option to sequences in this forum post. A drop-down box for a Genre could be added in this preference window.
Author
Another thing that I thought of today was an "Author" textbox. The Author textbox could have the name of the user by default, but it could be changed. For example, if I wanted to save a cover, arrangement, or identical copy of a Mozart song, I could change this textbox to say Mozart instead.
With these additional preferences, people could now browse sequences, not just by name, but also by Author and Genre.
In Conclusion
I realize that this probably will never be added to the site. But if I were some highly professional website builder, this would be my dream design for this website. Thanks for reading, ttyl.
