So, this would be my first actual thread on the forum. Mainly because I'm usually only active on the actual sequencer, and if I need to say something, I'll say it in the chat.
So, here's the story:
- I go to my laptop, and I'm automatically logged in.
- I want to log in on my actual computer. I attempt to do so, it says I'm wrong, even though I'm sure it's the right password. Recognizing it's possible I just forgot, I head back to my laptop.
- On my laptop, I change my password using the Change Password feature, and my laptop autocompletes it, so forgetting my password isn't a problem here.
- I go back to my computer and attempt to log in using the new password I changed it to. It again says I'm wrong. I try multiple more times, checking the spelling each time to make sure it's spelled correctly, but it still says it's wrong each time.
- I go back to my laptop. Figuring the problem might lay within the computer, I open three tabs of OS on my laptop. On the first one, I just leave myself logged in so that I can still get back in if this fails. On the second, I log in with my old password just in case for some reason it didn't change when I attempted to change it. Sure enough, my old password doesn't work. It must've changed. On the third, I log in with the new password. It also does not work. Had I not had the first tab in which I was still logged in, I would have been eternally locked out of this account and would have had to resort to a THIRD alternate account. (The other two I forgot the passwords to, so whereas my "main" used to be PikaDominator, I forgot the password to that, so my "main" became PikaDominator312 instead. PikaDominator goes unused now. PikaDominator2 only exists as a resort if something like this happens.)
Maybe this is a bug? Or maybe I'm just stupid somehow.
