Multiple Layers for Sequences

For many of the sequences I've made, notes often overlap eachother and play the same note. For example, the electric guitar and bass both playing the same riff, or even the percussion accidentally overlapping other notes. While this isn't a dire problem, I think it makes the sequence disorganized. My suggestion is to add multiple layers to sequence creation, like multiple tabs in a browser, where you can create separate components of a sequence in each. I think this would not only make sequences neater looking, but it would make complex sequences easier to create.
