When I'm working on the sequence, I often use Ctrl + Drag to resize my notes as it's more convenient than trying to click on the drag bar on the note itself. The problem is, Ctrl + Clicking a note while multiple notes are selected changes all of the notes in the selection to that instrument, which is a convenient feature. However, whenever I'm trying to resize multiple notes that are made up of different instruments, this can get annoying.
I believe a quick fix for this would be to change the instrument on a mouse release event rather than mouse press event, and to only change the instrument of the selection if the note length is the same. This means we would be able to keep the change instrument function AND resizing a selection of notes would be even easier.
