Undo

I just spent a few hours working on a multi-instrument sequence, and while moving the majority of my notes over to make more room for the intro, I accidentally hit the bass button, and now all those instruments are bass. I save regularly to notepad, but it screwed up again and didn't paste correctly. So now I get to sift through all those notes trying to make it how I had it before. 

Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz can we have an undo button? Or some other kind of fail-safe. Maybe a prompt when altering a minimum number of more than two kinds of notes.. or.. something... 

I'm gonna rage quit now and drink a beer and read Harry Potter.
