Any way to extract marker controls from the sequence files?

wanna ask the professionals in this forum about what's in the title

Cuz I'm currently having an idea of making a visualizer video for a set of sequences in which the effects depend on the volume and velocity of each instrument.
I'm thinking of ways to automate this by first extracting velocity info and volume info by somehow exporting MIDI and sequence files, but idk how to do so

Any advice about this or am I just hitting dead ends lol

You’re not hitting a dead end, but exporting MIDI is probably the more practical route. Once you have MIDI, velocity and CC data can be mapped directly to visual parameters in most visualizer or scripting tools.
