The developer of Online Sequencer has been known to make small changes to the site temporarily on April Fools Day.

In previous years, the developers have been known to make subtle changes to the website on April Fools day

In 2021, an image of the megaship the Ever Given was placed in the middle of the editor, a joke regarding the Suez Canal Obstruction of 2021 (see Easter Eggs and Running Jokes).
