With the introduction of markers on December 30, 2020, there is a marker option that can be used to increase or decrease the beats per measure during the song. See the [[markers]] page for more information. After clicking the <code>+</code> button, click "BPM" and enter a new BPM. There is also a blend option so those wanting to slowly change the BPM.
Originally, developer tools were required in order to increase the tempo/BPM limits, but as of July 4, 2021, when Liam changed the sequencing system to only allow sequences with BPMs mentioned above, it no longer exists.

Beats per minute (abbreviated as BPM) of a sequence on Online Sequencer refers to the speed of the music, otherwise known as tempo. BPM indicates the number of beats that occur within a span of 60 seconds. The default BPM setting is 110, and valid values range from 10 to 999.
