Who or what is Sven?
Sven is a real person who was friends with three classmates during their elementary school years. In 2016, Sven's persona was humorously transformed into a programmatic music genre and meme on the website OnlineSequencer by these friends, where his characteristics became the inspiration for humorous and creative compositions. Additionally, Sven became the subject of playful fat jokes in the OnlineSequencer chat, adding another layer to his meme status.

History of Sven.
The entire Sven phenomenon was created by Sven's three friends from elementary school, who were known on OnlineSequencer as BilboCosby, Void, and Sven.
It's important to clarify that while there is a user named Sven on OnlineSequencer, this user is not the same person as the real Sven. To the best of our knowledge, the real Sven has never participated on OnlineSequencer and is unaware of all the events surrounding him.
BilboCosby was banned for trolling around 2018 and quit, Void requested his account to be purged and now uses a new account named Spline, and Sven still occasionally logs in.
The memes eventually escalated to the point where users created macros to mass spam the chat with messages like "SVEN IS GOD, SVEN IS GOD, SVEN IS GOD..." along with a significant amount of spammy and inappropriate sequences related to Sven. This excessive spamming forced the site owner, Jacob_, to censor the name "Sven" to mitigate the disruptive behavior. The name "Sven" is now censored in the sequencer chat; only those who know the secrets of the bulletin board can circumvent this restriction.
Sven had many followers, and was a very popular topic of discussion, especially during the years 2016 to 2020.

"Sven is a music genre. It's a type of programmatic music, meant to musically describe the person Sven. When you think of Sven, you think of a obese 20 year old guy addicted to food. That's the type of person this music is trying to describe.
The music is often played by trombones and french horns. There can be added percussion, like cuicas or bongo drums. The music is often joyful and comical. This can for example be achieved through the use of chromatically altering the melody, and pasting it on top of the original melody. Most Sven pieces have an "earrape"; a sudden loud burst of sound that "rapes" the ear, so to speak. It is done by copy pasting a collection of notes on top of themselves. The timbre of horned instruments plays an important role in Sven's music. Horned instruments sound much harsher than other instruments when played together, making for a comical sound.
There are two common intervals used to create these comical effects; the minor second and the tritone. A major seventh is also a popular option.
The chords at the bottom almost always alternate between tonic-M3-P5-M3, repeating those four notes no matter what the chord is.
One of the popular Sven melodies consists of three notes from the pentatonic scale (minor or major, depending on the chords below it). It's taken from the song Kung Fu Fighting.
The reason Sven's music is so entertaining is because it keeps surprising you. You don't expect to hear such dissonant intervals or loud noises, even when you're used to Sven's music.
