Google Chrome is out of memory

Everytime I try to open a sequence the tab crashes and says: "Error code: out of memory"
This only happens in chrome, why?

i hve 2 gigabytes of ram with a intel pentium 4 and it can run google chrome and half life 1 on 640 resolution so i dont see whats the problem, other then that fact that it takes 40 minutes to open online sequencer

This happens mostly when I try to load big sequences. With smaller sequences it works just fine, so I guess that's it
