I am wondering how my hearing stacks up compared to other people on here. Go to this website:
https://www.szynalski.com/tone-generator/
READ: and crank the frequency higher and higher until you are unsure if you are hearing it or not. Once you do this, close your eyes and click the PLAY/STOP button a bunch of times so you don't know if it's playing or not. Of course if you are actually able to hear the sound you will get it right every time when you open your eyes and look. Start with a frequency 300-1000hz just to make sure it's at the right volume, for best results set it pretty loud (it's only for a few minutes on and off at most and seems way quieter at higher frequencies). What's the highest you can reliably hear? Use headphones, and use a computer because it make clicks and pops on mobile for some reason. (also when set to very high frequencies on some computers it will make weird sounds in the background so if you hear those try something else). Post what your hearing is good for.
Mine is 19350hz for the highest i can reliably discern.
