I can only import .mid files that I've exported from OS. Can't import any other .mid files I have. Is this a problem with OS or just my bowser?

I have Edge and it's just fine.

What is the header of the MIDI file? It must be the following:
4D 54 68 64
If it's not, the MIDI is not compatible.
