When a message is edited, it will add the following text to the original message:
These tags are commonly known as Rich Text, which can add data to text to make it appear larger, colorful, bold or italic
and it works fine here, [i]there are no issues with it.[/i]
Sometimes, rich text is also referred to as text formatting. You can make text really small or really large, just by supplying the tags such as bold or italic, and yes you can apply this to your forum posts as well!
The issue lies in the chat, when the "(edited)" text is added and someone replies to it. The reply text is already formatted, so it looks like the image shown in the attached.
If this issue would be addressed, it would prevent confusion and improve the chat.
