I like what you've done, it's energetic and has a lot of interesting detail. It's hard, using a midi sequencer like OS, to make something that sounds natural, but the cello sound you've chosen is probably the best choice, from the OS options, for what you're doing. I find the OS violin less convincing than the cello, and changing some of the parts to violin might not improve things. Adding a beat would completely change the overall feel of the piece, so it depends what you're aiming for (as I hear it, it feels like music that should be scored for a string quartet or piano trio, not music that should have drums). There's not much contrast in the piece right now, which I think is fine since it's short. If you might make it longer, then I'd give some thought to how you might introduce some variety in the sound (adding a piano part might be a good choice), but also how you might add some variety to the composition -- after all those fast rhythmic parts, something slower and more sedate could be very effective, and then after a more relaxed part, returning to a fuller-sounding variation on the energetic section could work really well.
