Sorry if something like this was already posted, or if answers already exist. I am new to this forum.
Who? I don't know whose responsibility this may be, SO, to whom it may concern, or to whomever it may interest:
1. String Length
For some odd reason, we can no longer search for sequences by a string of 2 letters/symbols.
This means even songs titled: "I AM 21" or "uh uh uh no no no" CANNOT be found given the current query string minimum of 3.
I would love if there was no limitation again! I would have access to musical ideas that I have lost as of sometime last year, when the change was made.
2. Search by DATE
Say you made a song in 2015 before you had an account...
or you are curious about the first sequence in 2013...
or the word or phrase is popular and there are simply too many other sequences...
What if its "Untitled" and unpopular?
Why not make it possible to search by the DATE the sequence was made?
Add an advanced filter with more options?
Or at the very least, put Monthly or Yearly tabs in "Sort By" so that we can refine searches.
3. Search by Musical Criteria
Now I don't want to sound like a spoiled brat, but:
This would help in the Musical Lost and Found world and...
Would it not be COOL to see a palette of sequences with 8 bit drums, or odd time (altered grid), or mono instrumental, or faster than 200 bpm, or a combination of instruments?
I can imagine this being difficult, but if the sequence class that is indexed includes some of this stuff, why not right? It obviously stores the amount of notes, and date. I wonder what else could be easily queried given a slightly updated UI on the Sequences Tab.
Any thoughts? Is there anything I can do?
Thanks for your time,
proZACK
