hear me out. every time I've been excessively rude to someone is when they were an alt and it was so obvious to me but ofc nobody would've believed me because I'm rude to a bit of people, for select reasons of course.
the point is, I think I should be like an investigator or something around that. an online sequencer hound perhaps. I'm very good at noticing small details.
and because I know it'd be stupid to say all this without an explanatory plan, here's what I'm thinking.
id be able to submit reports explaining why and what, who and when, basically suspicions i have on people based off of evidence that I've piled up over perhaps a few days depending on the amount and how obvious it is.
like an alt that's behavior is slightly off, and as usually only I notice it and point it out.
here's why.
1. it would decrease the amount of alts being wrongly used (ex; the porn link spammer)
2: it would give me an outlet for my suspicions instead of talking about them and then having people call me a dick and ask to ban me.
(and by the way, when that happened, I was right about the person being on an alt. i even said it and nobody believed me)
.
3: if this were to be implemented into os it would lead to a behavioral change by me cause id actually have something to do and it'd give me something useful to engage in.
4: possible need of mods question mark? this could be a somewhat substitute for a mod.
5: I'm on os like all day every day so id be able to monitor and supervise (within my division/role) the chat.
6: os is my #1 favorite site so it'd mean quite a bit to me if this were to be implemented.
7: relative to the sequencer part of os since id think mods would also have to actually engage in the actual use for the site too as a requirement, I make some dope songs sometimes. I can also make requested songs (based on what it is), so my specialty isn't going to just consist of me being in chat all day.
8: I wouldn't just be running into this blindfolded, I do have previous experience with moderation such as discord. and yes, I have made my own discord server before. (for the record it had over 10,000 people who loved it there)
9: if you're thinking I'm too rude for this job, being if it even gets implemented, just think of lucent tear, and compare lucent to me. no offense Lucy.
10: a lot of people are already familiar with me so I wouldn't just be a random person with a difference (of not authority but idk uniqueness from regular users I guess?) on this site.
and that's 10 reasons why I should be an... no not an.. the official os hound possibly.
and because if i did get positive reviews on the poll which would furtherly somewhat convince maybe Jacob to implement this idea, plus the fact that this (all my mind can think of as a word here is proper democracy...) would/could be supported either negatively or positively by the peoples opinions, I'm going to make this a poll.
also cause I'm feeling ballsy.
