What TF2 has that other FPS games like Overwatch don't is amazing character design and that coupled with the goofy and silly experiences you often have, it makes the game far more enjoyable to play and powers the community to continue playing the game and having fun in it's silliness! See what most people don't realize is that TF2 is not categorized as a shooter, but as a Hat-Themed War Simulator. Meaning that it's more than just a shooter, it has it's own story-line. Think of the memes like the spycrab that since 2007, still stand tall in 2021 today! Think of all the animators like Winglet which is well versed in SFMs or STBlackST which professionalizes in GMod animations all built off TF2's goofy characters that still make people laugh or immerse people! Think of the Love and War update and all the new taunts added every update! With every new feature added, more possibilities and little shenanigans can be made up to entertain the playerbase! I personally theorize TF2 is at a very high spot today considering it hasn't gotten a major update since 2017 and yet it still stands tall and lives on in our hearts - it doesn't need an update because it already has a LOT of stuff to mess around with!

Ive played TF2 since 2012, have accumulated over 9000 hours on the game, and can say with confidence it is the best game i've ever played, and quite possibly may be for a long time
