Apologies, gushing incoming. As of yesterday, April 12th, I have been an OS user for ten years.
I know OS has been around since 2013, but only recently took the time to really appreciate just how long it's been and how far this website and its users have come. My own sequences are pretty *****, but every time I listen to everyone's sequences I'm blown away by just how creative everyone is with both the music itself and the use of OS as a platform. This went from a site to plink up songs you were thinking of to a genuine place to make and share music. I've met a lot of amazing people here, even if I personally am not active in forums or chat. I don't like talking about my age much, but I was a middle schooler when I started and was a total idiot, and people were still kind. Now, in 2026, which sounds like a fake year, I'm not far off from getting a bachelor's degree, and have no intention of leaving OS.
There are too many people to thank and shout out, other than of course Jacob_ and Lucent. Thank you for creating this place, and for everybody for populating it. Hopefully there could be ten more!!
