Fallen Stars
The stars still exist, and the Tauraro drifts among them, pondering on its final decision and coming to a firm conclusion---cut to the world in the ocean. New people are rising up and the world underwater is rebuilding itself. Things continue completely unaffected, as the Tauraro decides to remain in seclusion and the people of the ocean carry on their own constructions of their own world.
The final decision. Some would call it the "good ending." There is no conflict over the stars, only the pursuit that the ocean creature may choose for themselves. Almost like a world where Eve did not take the apple.
