DOOM UNLEASHED (January Monthly Contest)
DOOM UNLEASHED
LISTEN HERE IF IT LAGS!!!
(34,000 notes) (60 clones)
OVERVIEW
This piece plays during the battle with Lord Zogrian, the main antagonist. It is the final boss theme of Otherrealm.
Inspirations for this piece include Dancing Mad from Final Fantasy VI and D'Force Master from NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
STAGE 1
Stage 1 establishes the main theme and quickly intensifies into an 8-bit/orchestral battle theme. It changes to a different theme then reverts back to the main theme transposed a whole step up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
STAGE 2
Stage 2 takes the main theme and builds upon in in many ways. It is much more intense than Stage 1 and focuses on a more orchestral approach rather than 8-bit. After the intense and somewhat dissonant intro, the main theme plays once in C Minor and then again in a different style in D# Minor.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
STAGE 3
Stage 3 combines both the 8-bit aspects from Stage 1 and the more intense orchestration from Stage 2 in the finale. In the first half of stage 3, a different melody plays with the main theme occasionally appearing. The second half opens with a new melody and continues that way until the end, where it slowly fades out.
Motifs
-
Zogrian's Theme. The main theme throughout the track.
-
The Journey motif #m55 #m94
-
Relic's Theme. #m260

Cyfly's Theme #m282

sir I have one recommendation that will get this more attention which it very well deserves have you considered splitting the three pieces into the sequences and keeping the full version too for the impatient people in the croud
This needs more plays. this is fire. How long did it take you to make this?
