Released in 1966, Verdreifachen's second album hit the charts. Already dedicated fans were shaking in their seats, though the rest of the world was hit in the face like a brick wall. Nobody could've expected the influence "Gold Greatest Hits" would have on culture and music. Fans across the globe cheered their names, begging for encore, stages were packed. Eirc and the rest of the members knew, they had struck gold.

Even to this day, "Gold Greatest Hits" carries the hearts of many. From singles such as "Paint me a Shadow," and the introduction of "Together Now!" the album still resonates. Long after Eric's death, many people still listen in and some even buy the physical version just for the touch of nostalgia and the sound you can never get from digital music.
