Working on an old song. This is not my usual quality. "The Bloom Unfolds For Peace" (WIP)
This is a draft for a song that'll be in my new hard Sci-fi space game called Inter-Fracta. In addition to this song acting as the game's main theme, it will also be used for slingshot maneuvers around planets when traveling within solar systems.
LORE:
In the world, large planetary cannon-like structures exist that have been fitted with a hyperdrive inside of them. Instead of the hyperdrive making the cannon fly away, the hyperdrive creates a hyperdrive field (Scission field) and the cannon focuses the beam into space. This allows the cannons to grab ships flying in interplanetary space in order to slingshot them around the planet, increasing the ship's velocity and changing their heading. This is a vital tactic for ship pilots to get around stars. within a solar system. Ships (ceptors) cannot travel near stars due to how hyperdrives (Santonian drives) warp the ship and space time around the ship. This warping, or otherwise called "Scissioning" significantly decreasing the structural integrity of any and all bodies of matter. Because stars let off extreme radiation, the ships must stay far away from them while in their hyperdrive state. This also keeps ships from flying into atmospheres in this hyperdrive state due to the atmosphere interfering with the scission field.
As you would expect, the chorus plays when the ship is being accelerated by the ground cannon (Orbital capture cannon) while the buildup to the chorus is the traveling period to get within the cannon's range

Haha thanks for coming back to check my stuff out! I'm mostly focusing on college right now but progress is still being made. I'm about to buy a professional mic for sound design and dialogue. Only still beginning to learn how to work with UE5. I'm hoping to have the full soundtrack and game document (550 pages rn) done by April so I can fully focus on learning to create the game.
I also ended up putting some synth sounds in the song you originally commented on per your request. I think it made it much better

I'd love to show you if I currently had any to show. I'm working on 1: Concepting, 2: Music, and 3: actual game development in that order. Still figuring out if I want to use Unreal Engine 5 or another engine rn. I'll keep updates on my bio when I have more to show or If I intend to release a spoiler version of my game document (150 pages currently).
